Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: May 15, 2026

This policy describes how refunds and cancellations work for paid subscriptions to [YOUR_BRAND_NAME], a service operated by [YOUR_LEGAL_COMPANY_NAME]. Razorpay is our payment processor; all refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Razorpay.

1. Free Trial

New accounts may use the free trial without any charge. No card is required to start the trial. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account moves to the free tier — nothing is charged.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you keep access to paid features until then, and you will not be billed again. Your data remains in your account and you can re-subscribe at any time.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Duplicate charge or technical billing error. If our systems charged you twice for the same plan or charged you for a plan you did not select, contact us within 30 days and we will refund the duplicate in full.
  • Service failure attributable to us. If a verified outage or critical bug on our end prevents you from using a core feature of the Service for a continuous period, we will issue a prorated refund or service credit for the affected days.
  • 7-day satisfaction window on first paid subscription.If this is your first paid subscription and you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of the first payment for a full refund. After the first 7 days, the standard policy below applies.

4. What Is Not Refundable

  • Subscription fees for billing cycles that have already started, where the Service was available and used (e.g. cancellation in month 8 of a 12-month plan does not refund the remaining 4 months).
  • Charges incurred while you exceeded the acceptable-use policy or after your account was suspended for a breach of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Third-party fees (e.g. WhatsApp message charges billed by Meta, SMS, add-on services) — these are processed by the third party and are subject to that provider’s refund policy.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at [YOUR_SUPPORT_EMAIL] with:

  • The email address on your account.
  • The invoice number (visible on the Billing page) or Razorpay payment ID.
  • A brief description of the reason for the refund.

We respond within 2 business days and, once approved, process the refund within 5–10 business days. The amount returns to your original payment method via Razorpay; banks may take a few additional days to reflect it in your account.

6. Plan Changes (Upgrade / Downgrade)

  • Upgrades take effect immediately. The new plan is billed in full from the date of upgrade; we do not prorate the remainder of the previous plan.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain access to the higher tier until then. No prorated refund is issued for the unused portion of the higher plan.

7. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge through your bank instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account until the dispute is resolved. We strongly encourage you to reach out to [YOUR_SUPPORT_EMAIL] first — most issues are resolved within a day.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance.
